Tips for Easing Anxiety upon Returning to Campus

  • Connect with Campus Resources Connecting with your school's mental and physical health services can be a helpful way to support your success in the new school year.  No need to wait until you are back on campus to get started - Many schools have added or expanded Mental Health Services for students. 
  • Telehealth Appointment  See if your school has partnered with any telehealth providers to give students access to physicians and mental health professionals through virtual video appointments, you can receive care no matter where you are located with providers licensed in that state. 
  • Counseling Centers Look into your schools expanded mental health services.  Some colleges host virtual events and workshops on relevent mental health topics.
  •   Crisis Hotlines Many Universities now provide 24/7 access to counselors.  Consider utilizing the National Hotline as well, such as Crisis Text Line. Simply text HOME to 741741.
